THIS AGREEMENT is made between Chicago Local Business Directory and you the
"Business Operator".
By proceeding with the purchase of this Chicago Directory Business
Listing, you ("The Business Operator") agree to be legally bound by the
terms and conditions ("the Terms) set out below with immediate effect. If
you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms please do
not continue with this purchase:
Definitions
"Business Owner" Person or persons who owns, runs, manages
or represents the Listed Business.
"Business Listing" All the details and images submitted for
a Business Owner to describe it for the purpose of display on Directory.
"Subscription" The period that the Business Listing is
displayed on our Directory.

Content of Business Listings
Chicago Local Business Directory accepts Business details in good faith
and expects that Business Owners will provide an accurate description of
their activities, products and Services.
All Business Listings should comply with relevant US legislation including
the Fair Trading Act (which covers false descriptions). The
Business Owner agrees to indemnify Chicago Local Business Directory against
all claims, costs arising out of any misleading information within their
listings.
Chicago Local Business Directory will take every care to reproduce
faithfully the text, contact details and logos provided to us by Business
Owners. We will not however be held liable for any loss arising out of any
error or omission on our part.
Chicago Local Business Directory reserves the right to determine the
design and layout of Business Listings, and (at our discretion) make
alterations to submitted details or logos, should we consider it to be
necessary. Chicago Local Business Directory will not be held liable for any
loss arising out of such alterations.
Business Details
We advise against copying your Business and Product description from
other Websites or adverts due to Google and other search engines policy on
duplicate content.
If you copy the Business and Product details on your Business Listing from
another Website we cannot guarantee that your Business details will be
listed by any search engine. It is your responsibility to ensure that the
description is unique and informative.
Business Listing Standards
When submitting your Business details you agree to the Business Listing
Standards. If when reviewing your Business Listing, it does not meet our
standards it will be suspended until the appropriate changes are made.
All changes to the Business Listing made by yourself, are monitored and your
Business Listing will be suspended if your Business Listing does not meet
our standards.
Materials and Logos
Chicago Local Business Directory will take the utmost care of all materials and logo provided for Business Listing, but cannot be held liable for any loss or damage however caused.
Copyright
It is the responsibility of the Business Owner to ensure they have the right to reproduce any digital images that they supply to us. The Business Owner agrees to indemnify Chicago Local Business Directory against all claims costs arising out of any infringement of copyright for such images.
Liability
Chicago Local Business Directory cannot be held liable for any loss or damages whatsoever incurred, including consequential losses such as lost income, in connection with Subscription on the Chicago Local Business Directory Website.
Activity Locations
Business Services offered at more than 1 Postal Town location must not be described on a single Business Listing.
Sharing your details
We will never share your details with any other party without your consent.
Payment
Full Payment must be made within by Paypal. If payment is not received, the Business Listing will be remain Pending Status until payment is received. The period of advertising will not be extended to reflect any non-paid period.
Renewal
Your subscription will be automatically taken through Paypal in one years
time or monthly depending on your subscription. If you do not wish to
continue you must terminate this subscription via Paypal before the date of
next invoice.
If renewal payment is not received 7 days after the renewal invoice date
your listings will no longer display on the Website.
Chicago Local Business Directory reserves the absolute right to refuse to
accept or withdraw any Business Listing submitted. If the Business Listing
has been paid for, a full refund will be made, Under no circumstances will
any compensation be payable by Chicago Local Business Directory for
any loss howsoever incurred, including loss of income, the time/cost
involved in submitting the Business Listing etc.
If Chicago Local Business Directory receives a complaint about a
Business Listing, we reserve the right to remove that Business Listing from
our web site without notice, if in our opinion the complaint is reasonably
substantiated. Such complaints could relate to the accuracy of details in
the Business Listing. In all cases our decision will be final. In that case,
a refund will not be paid and under no circumstances will any compensation
be payable by Chicago Local Business Directory for any loss howsoever
incurred, including loss of income, re-advertising costs etc.
The Business Owner may choose to withdraw their Business Listing from Chicago Local Business Directory website – please notify us in writing [ Email ]. If the Business Operators details are listed on our Website for more than 3 days, then payment will not be refunded.
Level of Service
Chicago Local Business Directory will make every effort to provide Business Owners with a first class service. Chicago Local Business Directory will endeavor as far as practical to ensure that the Website is available on the Internet at all times. However some breaks in service are inevitable and often beyond our control, we are therefore unable to guarantee 100% availability.
Finally
Chicago Local Business Directory may change the content of the terms and conditions, and our Business Listing standards during your period of Subscription - notice will be given prior to any change via email.
Our standards have been introduced to ensure that your Chicago Business Listing looks professional and user friendly. We want to supply visitors with up-to-date, and accurate information, which will enable them to find what they are looking for in our Chicago Business Directory.
Every Business Listing submitted to us will be reviewed to ensure that it meets these standards. If a Business Listing does not meet our standards, then we reserve the right to edit such listing ( for grammar) or suspend the Business Listing until the Business Owner makes the appropriate changes.
Duplicate Activity Details
You must not, duplicate your Business Listing details from any other Website or advertisement, the descriptions must be unique. Search engines are now removing pages which have been copied from, or duplicated on another site.
Website link
You do not need a website in order to get listed , however a website linked from your advertisement must not promote any Products or Services that are not related to your listing. Links pointing to low value, under construction or doorway pages will not be accepted.
Quality of Logos
Premium Listings allow you to provide a logo to represent your Services which will be displayed alongside your Business Listing. Logos which are fuzzy, and of bad quality, too large or too small will be rejected.
Complaints
Complaints from users of our Website are treated very seriously. If we have evidence that your Business Listing does not meet US advertising standard laws we have the right to suspend or terminate your Activity
